Shadow Clone Diaries: Prologue

Evening in Konoha brought an unusual sight to the sleepy side streets. Four identical blond ninja in orange and black jumpsuits walked in a group towards Ichiraku Ramen, talking between themselves.  During training earlier that day, four of Naruto Uzumaki’s shadow clones had snuck away unnoticed to take a day off.

After reserving a private table, four different bowls of ramen were set in front of the group of copies: Miso, Pork, Seafood, and Vegetable.  Each took the flavor they preferred and broke their chopsticks.

“Hey, who do you think Naruto is going to end up taking for a girlfriend?”  The Miso clone asked through a mouthful of noodles.  “I’m still hoping for Sakura-chan, but she’s getting violent now that she is working under Tsunade Baa-chan.”

“What are you, a Nara? Sakura will only do for a masochist now.  I think he should go for the Yamanaka girl and have a bunch of little blonde ninja kids.  Besides, their personalities are really similar if you look at them.”  The Pork Ramen-eating clone mused, fishing a piece of meat out of his bowl.

“If you want a bunch of kids, the Hyuuga’s are prone to having two at a time, so what about Hinata?  Putting her father aside, she’s already in love with Naruto and she has the best body of the three girls who are looking at him.” The Seafood Ramen clone said, nodding to himself as if the issue had been resolved.

The fourth clone just shook his head and finished his Vegetarian Ramen.  “You forget that Naruto has already had his first kiss before he even left the Academy.  We’ve all suspected for a long time that Sasuke was a homo, and with Sexy Jutsu, they could even have kids. It could really work.”  The other three shadow clones just stared slack jawed at their fourth companion.  Was he joking?

“If you don’t believe me, we should each go after the one we think Naruto should be with and the one that gets the farthest wins.”

All four agreed and set off in four different directions after their preferred match for the original Naruto in what promised to be one wild night.
